According to the news, the Jaiprakash Narayan (JP) Ganga Expressway may be inaugurated by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar next week. The construction work of this 5.4 km long project from Digha to AN Sinha Institute has been completed. The final phase work is going on on a war footing. If all goes well, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will inaugurate on June 13 or 14, after which the movement of vehicles will start. The people of the city will travel from Digha to Gandhi Maidan in just 5 minutes.
It will also become easier for the people of Patna to reach AIIMS via East Patna. About 7 kilometer long elevated road is to be constructed from Anisabad to AIIMS. For this the process of preparation of detail project report has started. It will be approved as soon as the DPR is prepared, then the work agency will be selected for the construction of the road, after which the construction will start.
With the construction of the elevated road, it will be easier for the common people to reach AIIMS. At present, people have to deal with heavy traffic in order to go from Anishabad to AIIMS. According to sources, the road construction department had prepared an action plan for the elevated road which is to be built from Anisabad to AIIMS. On this issue, talks have also been held with the senior officials of the Ministry of Transport and Highways of the Central Government.
Let us tell you that the time has been fixed to complete this project within 3 years. Considering the importance of this project, it has been decided by the Road Construction Department to work expeditiously. Additional Chief Secretary of the department, Pratyaya Amrit, has ordered the officers and engineers of the department to reconsider the entire action plan and complete the project in full swing.
